Patrick Stewart

Registered Representative

As a registered representative in the White Plains, New York office of Arch Global Advisors, Patrick Stewart offers a deceptively simple description of his job. “I help clients meet their financial goals,” he says.

But defining those goals, not to mention reaching them, takes skills, and knowledge. The kind necessary to create guaranteed income streams, establish a diversified portfolio, and be ready and responsive to clients’ evolving goals and objectives—not to mention their own risk tolerance.

Patrick has the right financial background to help clients achieve these goals. After graduating from Iona College (now Iona University) in White Plains in 2015 with a degree in finance and accounting, Patrick secured his first job as a registered representative at Prudential. He then moved to Raben Capital Group where he became a fiduciary, Latin for “trust.”

We always put the clients’ needs first,” says Patrick.

No wonder Patrick feels like he has found a home at AGA. “It is a ‘clients-first’ philosophy here,’ he says. “As a fiduciary, that’s totally consistent with my approach.” He also likes working with the wide range of clients at AGA’s White Plains office, including union workers with Metro North and local teachers, as well as retirees and those in white collar professions.

Understanding these varied client needs means listening: People change goals as they move from one segment of their life to the next. And it is why the original financial plan Patrick develops with each client is flexible and always subject to revision, depending on circumstances. A good plan is a living, breathing document that can adapt to any changes in their life,” he says.

His Background:

Patrick describes himself as a Jersey guy” and indeed he was raised in Avenel, N.J., a suburban town in Middlesex County. His dad was a VP at Federal Express International Freight, and his mother was a marketing assistant for a financial representative, so he has always been comfortable with numbers and business—while also understanding the importance of delivering top quality customer service.

Fun Fact:

Patrick is an inveterate baseball fan, who is especially passionate about the New York Yankees. He calls the Bronx Bombers “the best sports organization to ever play the game…any game.”  In his spare time, he enjoys the relaxation and serenity of fishing.
